The great EP Race of 2024

The great EP Race of 2024 is upon us. This is inspired by the great EP race of 2021 that I, and my friend Ammad participated in. The general idea is to write as many EP's within a month, and whoever writes the most within that time frame wins the CASH prize. It will take place over the month of July 2024 (July 1 2024 - July 31 2024) The entry fee is $20 payable to me either by Cash, CashApp or Venmo. While the objective is quantity, each EP should not be a low effort affair. You should like and care about each recording you make, don't just send in 20 noise recordings that you didn't even listen back to.

Rules

An EP must be composed in good faith (i.e. not a low effort recording! or a low effort live improv session)
An EP must be composed and recorded within the time frame of the EP Race (July 1 2024 - July 31 2024)
An EP must contain at least 4 songs
An EP must be at least 7 minutes in length
An EP must be posted to a publically accessible location to be counted (i.e. Bandcamp, Soundcloud, or a personal website), and then emailed to me (Jack Thomson) I will post it in our Google Group/email thread
No randos, you have to email me first at thomsonjack41@gmail.com to be counted
You must contribute $20 (email me or send me the money however)
Anyone who writes at least one EP that qualifies will get $10 back from their $20 contribution
The winner is the artist who composes the most EP's within the allotted time period (July 1 2024 - July 31 2024)
The winner will get whatever prize money is left in the pool ($10 + anyone who did not write an EP's other $10)
